Seasonal Eats – September Menu
We are so lucky to have some of the best talent when it comes to the food we eat. Our chefs inspire us to indulge while getting all the nutrition we need. This season is one of our favorites for comforting recipes while still enjoying the fresh taste of late-summer produce.
Here are just some of the delicious recipes we’ve been trying this month!
STRAWBERRY ROMAINE SALAD: We’re saying goodbye to summer with cucumbers, scallions and goat cheese. A classic combination with just the right balance of salty and sweet.
EGG AND AVOCADO BREAKFAST SANDWICH: Millennials aren’t the only ones who love avocados! We’ve been enjoying ours with mango and pepper salsa on a brioche-style roll.
ROASTED CARROT AND RED QUINOA SALAD: This delicious vegetarian dish is prepared with walnuts, parsley, dried cranberries and a lemon Dijon vinaigrette.
GARLICKY BLEU CHEESE STEAK: When the weather cools down, nothing hits the spot quite like meat and potatoes. Our chef makes this extra-delicious version with garlic roasted new potatoes and asparagus.
DUCK BREAST: We’ve got some adventurous eaters in our ranks, and this entree never fails to disappoint them! Ours is served with lingonberry demi, a wild rice blend and haricot verts.
CHEESY FARFALLE: If you love pasta, this month’s comes with honey and apple chicken sausage. We even have gluten free options for this carb-lover’s dish.
CHILI-LIME BEEF AND BLACK BEAN BOWL: Follow us across the border and get inspired to travel south. This dish is composed of sirloin steak, black beans, tomato, cilantro, steamed rice, a lime wedge and avocado crema.
SPICY VEGGIE AND TOFU SALAD: Healthy and truly scrumptious, this dish is a symphony of romaine lettuce, mint, basil, cucumber, red onion, baby corn, snow peas, and tofu seasoned with lime juice, fish sauce, sesame oil and jalapeños.
And don’t forget dessert! To satisfy your sweet tooth, we have fresh-baked cookies, fudge brownies, peach pie, flourless chocolate torte, raspberry swirl cheesecake and sugar free cherry cake on the menu.
