What’s it really like living at Ávila? Our residents often tell us that staying independent, easy access to services, plenty of activities and proximity to family and friends are what matter most to them. At Ávila, they thrive in a conveniently located community with a year-round calendar of events and caring neighbors and staff.
We like to think that our residents are like no other. They regularly volunteer for positions that help new residents get settled and help existing residents stay comfortable. Some of our residents work as low-vision aides to help visually challenged residents read correspondence, magazines, and books. Others deliver meals to those recovering from illness or injury. Still others provide emergency shopping or transportation for those who have an immediate need for a special item or an unexpected trip to a healthcare provider. We even have residents who volunteer to provide support and comfort to residents who just need a little company.
Here, independent living is compassionate, engaging, fulfilling and fun! But don’t just take our word for it read what our residents have to say.
